What is a goodsite to buy rims for a Camaro?

I plan on getting a Z28 or SS Camaro within the month and I want to get rims so when I get the car I can just put them on.

eBay is the best place to start looking. They have many different options at reasonable prices. Next I would try a Belle or Discount tire to see what they have available. Craigslist is also a choice if you are going for used wheels. Just please don't put 20's on the car!!!!!

i agree ebay is a good place to look and at least figure out what is out there and how much they cost. even if you don't buy them off of ebay its a good way to figure out what is a good price and whats a bad one. only downside with ebay is shipping costs, they can get kinda spendy IMHO.

No 20's haha, but probably 17's or 18's. My budget is aroung $800-900. Do you think I could buy a nice pair of SS rims for cheaper?

P.S Is this any good http://www.lmperformance.com/5392/1.html I am thinking about getting it.

i think you want a set of rims not a pair, but anyways you can get a set of 17inch ss rims off of ebay for $450 and they are brand new (shipping is $75). only downside is you still would need to get tires which could get kinda spendy i think.

I got a set of black ZR1's and went with cheap Sumitomo's for the initial tire from discount tire a few years back. Set me back right at 800. Got the 9.5 fr and 11" rear with 275/40/17 and 315/35/17.

I figured my next set would be better rears. Have between 10-12k sofar and the fronts are still fantastic and rears are 20%.

I bought a set of chome ss rims from slp for $750 four years ago. They said they were better than o.e.m. in the way they dont flake and peel from the inside of the rim out. They lied. they are peeling all the way to the tire now. They have never seen salt or snow and I took care of them. I say get some used OE c5 or c6 rims. Just my thoughts from exp.

I think I am going to go with these rims. By chance do you have any pics of your car so I can see what they look like?

I'd check with Discount tire also first. My black zr1's were under 110 a piece. The manager I bought them from had a black ss so maybe he hooked me up?

not offhand. i haven't had a chance to get any pics yet. be aware that the ris will come with corvette center caps. you can find plain center caps from slp for $15 for a set of 4 for the ZR1 replicas.

I got the chrome C6 style wheels from these guys about 3 years ago or so. They still look great and these guys were great to do business with. Look around the site. They have a lot to pick from.
