On the old Max Wedge and Super Stock Dodge's and Plymouth's we had to uncap the exhaust on each side by removing four bolts and the cover plate with gasket. I love the new electric cut outs. Saves time and my back.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k

I haven't looked. My last recollection is that members were having issues getting in contact with them.

You can still buy them but some vendors have dropped them due to long wait times. Not to mention the once great warranty and customer service has turned into a joke. They take months to reply to a email or call if they ever do. I've seen several people say they sent their cut outs in 6 months to over a year ago for warranty work and haven't received them back and no one will talk to them about when they will get it back. Threads starting to pop up with how to fix them yourself it's gotten so bad.

    Sadly now demodded :(

From TeamCamaro to LS1.com. No wonder you haven't responded.

And QTP is what I had back in the day...
    67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...

2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior

    2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.

I am wanting to add a cutout to the stock pipe near the axle. Is it 2.75 or 3 that would work better to have welded in?

2.75" and welding in is always better. But I have mine where I can drop mine with the y pipe so it makes dropping the transmission easier.

Ok.. I read 3 on stock and that seemed big.

My buddy builds headers for dirt racing trucks from scratch so he said no problem to toss a cutout on.
