Question what do you think of this camaro?

i saw a black 1996 camaro z28 m6 with about 85000 miles and its all stock and interior is in near perfect condition for about $7,998. that minus the '02 civic im trading in which i was told by a previous dealer that i could get $3,000 for it at the lowest. should i?

WAY too much IMO for a 1996.. You can get a 98 with those miles for that price... And they've got the LS1

~4500-5000 ... LS1 is just way more powerful and newer technology... Very responsive to mods... You have one don't you? 2001 TA?

Unless your civic is falling apart and has 200k on it, don't trade it in, they're trying to take you for a ride. Throw the civic up on craigslist for 5k obo. I would recommend buying a car from a private owner as well. A good owner will have maintenance logs of any parts or work done to the car. I also agree about the Camaro being way too high, check out craigslist or autotrader, and remember that those are ASKING prices, they will negotiate, especially when you bring cash to the table. You're at an advantage because people are still trying to get rid of gas guzzlers and buy civics. Don't do this through the stealership, used cars is where they make their money, money that could be in your pocket.

That car is not worth more then 3500 maybe 4k max. They should be giving you money if you trade your civic. Definitely go LS1 98-02 with 8k to spend.
