Black- 2002 Chevy Camaro
VATS or Clutch Switch
Ok, 2002 Camaro SS M6
occasionally it will not start when key is turned. I generally stomp on the clutch a few times, then try it, then wiggle the key and try it, then stomp on the clutch and wiggle the key and try it, curse, then try some other combination of the aformentioned processes and it will start. The battery and alturnator are fine. The car has 106k on the clock. It seems to be unrelated to temperature or anything else, almost entirely random. The lights and radio still come on with the key turned which makes me lean toward a clutch switch.
my key is slightly worn, but I don't consider it excessive. Is there a way to check either problem out to verify if it is the cause without too much trouble?

nah, i install a lot of batteries at my part time, and I have done enough with cars to narrow the problem down pretty well, just didnt know if ther was an easy way to test it. My question got answered on another forum
