Transformers!!!

OK just seen the Transformers movie. It was a pretty good movie; action, pretty girl (megan fox) but the reason it was great the new CAMARO. Damn, it was bad ass! Cannot wait til it comes out. opinions pls

damnitt, I wanted to put up the first post! I loved the movie. I saw the midnight showing, so there weren't any kids there, just adults and older teens. when the new Camaro came out everyone in the theater cheered. You can really tell that GM put money into the movie, since it's almost like a car commercial sometimes. but hey, the Camaro beats up a Mustang!

yeah the Camaro is gonna bring a lot of people to that movie just to see it. the Saleen looks pretty good, but the Camaro ! looked slick, meanand sounded good too

Saw it yesterday and I have to say...as a 22 year old that GREW up with Transformers...I was very pleased and I wanna go see it again... god that Camaro is awsome... kinda sad though how they mistreat the Solstice though... mock my words... circa 2009...I will own a brand spankin new Z28...

Bad ass movie! Bumblebee ruled the screen. Am definately going to see it again. For those who have not but will don't leave soon as the credits start.

I saw it on the 4th. I would have been happy to see 2 hours of the race between the Mustang and the Camaro, what there were robots in the movie. lol

transformers rocked !!! im a 32, i remember the comic book, the cartoon when it first came out, and the movie back in 86.
now as a camaro fan, that new camaro looked sick. i cheered when it beat the mustang.
and i will see the movie again...

i'll tell ya what, i was really suprised about how bad ass it was. i was sure it was going to be corny, but minus maybe 2 little parts, it was AWESOME! John turturro is pretty much my idol.

I haven't watched tv in over a week.

I hadn't seen the trailers.

I ignored all these posts on ls1.com, ls1tech.com, z28.com, camaroz28.com, and everywhere else, demonoid.com.

I was going to go see the movie and not know anything about it.

Then my FORMER friend said, "so what'd you think of the camaro in transformers"

I WAS BEYOND WORDS!!!!!!

Who's with me...I want this guy dead...jk...ok i'm not kidding!

I felt better after the movie was over. It was still good, but I have no idea what I would of done if I hadn't known about the Camaro...

Id be looking at decently optioned for around 40-50 depending on Dealer markup

I'm guessing around 40 grand an up. my mom's new Caddy CTS with a V6 was 42K.

I don't really think it'd be worth more than 40. Maybe to some people, but to me I'd be overpaying by a lot. Looks like I won't be getting one if the price is that high. In a few years I'd be able to pick one up for 25k if this is the case.

actually i think the new camaro maybe pretty affordable...i remember reading MPH mag, and seeing 40+ for the new challenger (if it does come out) same as the shelby gt. the camaro depending on what version i guess, maybe around 32+. i gotta find that mag and confirm, so dont quote me on that...

v8 z28 29-32
v8 ss 32-36

I think these prices are more realistic and would be my guess.

Z28 Camaro (Limited Production)
MSRP* $ 39,250.00 (base price) to $ 44,985.00 (fully optioned)

Super Sport Camaro (SS)
MSRP* $ 28,145.00 (base price) to $ 41,745.00 (fully optioned)

I think his are pretty close...but who in their right mind would pay 36k for a fully optioned v6? Why would the Z28 cost more when the SS are always "supposed" to be the better car.
