Top up VS Top down?

Does anyone know the difference in 1/4 times up vs down? Because I beat a guy in a 911 Carrera with my top up. google sl600 vs 911 its the first result, but I lost a top end run with my top down vs a slower m3 v8. sl600 vs m3 v8


Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hell, you can't even go quicker than 13.50 in a vert with the top up or down unless you have a roll bar.

I was wanting some off the cuff numbers. Good enough for goverment work these days lol. Also has a hydrolic roll bar. My cars not a sprinter. Its got a 2.65 rear gear, and weights in at 4,450lbs.

I just would like to know how much the top down slows you down. In street racing? Kills top end but by how much? under a hundred doesnt seem to affect, but then comes on strong.



All those drag races were on dry rot tires! I took them off in the morning. Burning them off. no traction. proof.
