Tire Hop
Does anyone have the same problem and what is the cheapest/ or the best way to fix it. When ever I take off hard in first and second gear I can feel major wheel hop. I know about toqure arms but will this fix the issue. I have a m6, and 275 45 17 bf goodrich gforce tires that are almost new.
Thanks

First when you feel it start to hop, let off the throtle. Theres a long list of things you can snap.
Second, its all in the suspension... Its time to upgrade
Run a search and you will find all the info you could ever want.2001 SS, Its not the car its the Driver that matters....

How old are the shocks? Is your car stock or modified?

The car has 45,000 miles I think they are the stock bilstien shocks unsure, has full slp 3" exhaust, LNG tube headers , lid smooth bellow, all the free stuff.
Thanks for all the advice

you could try LCAs, panhard bar, and torque arm. that should help out.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Go with an adjustable torque arm that attaches to the body. Start with setting it at 2* down. This pretty much cured the wheel hop I had.
I have a reworked A4 with a 3400 stall and 3.73 gears.

Theres no thing as stock bilsteins our cars come w/ decarbons (orange in color)
Cheapest is lower control arms and relocation brackets. If your lowered then an adjustable panhard rod for sure, and if you have the power and the money a torque arm. Get those lower control arms and relocation brackets first. Get them of Sam Stranos sight or go umi, whatever you can't go wrong.

Navy Blue Metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
I did the LCA's with the relocation brackets and that eliminated alot of it.....thinking about the tourqe arm to see if that takes care of the rest
