Time for a Oil Change

Just turned 4,000 miles on my 02. It was purchased as a garage queen since it was suppose to be the last year SS. What a lie by GM.

only 4000 wow u got to take that thing out for a drive every now and then. i bet it is beautiful. and in my opinion the 02 is the last ss ever made if you know what i mean. how bout some pics.

Below the box you type your post in you'll see "Miscellaneous Options". You need to check the top block for "Show your signature" before you submit reply.

Box does not state anything about Show your signature. It's there when I check my profile.

You're signature will only show up once per thread, unless said thread is over 3 pages, then it will show up only once per page.

Every 3 months or 3,000 miles.

With that few of miles I'd do it every 6 months...

im running it ..and oil psi and such is constant ..car isnt too noisy..i have a messed up spark plug wire that is ticking ..i am also at about 4k miles on it..i will change it this week.

cool i jump back and forth between pp and schaeffers, ran the ulta in my ma's avalanche but i havent seen any results from the oil gurus on here

I drive an average of 700 miles a year on my '02 SS and I change the oil (Mobil 1) once a year.

this is only my first run with ultra..the reason i jumped ship was 1. to try it out. and 2. because it is one of the first oils to exceed ILSAC GF-5 and is still cheaper than amsoil ..i thought why not...i may switch back to PP..but ultra is new technology and if it keeps my engine that much more cleaner and together than why not.
