Time for a new hood?
I nicked my first 3rd Gen, 01 SS hood. The car with the nicked hood was totaled by some idiot texting while driving on the highway. I removed the hood, from the wrecked car, and now i want to have the nick fixed, and the hood repainted. I paid 450-560 for the functional SS camaro hood when i bought it, and to have it repainted, the people here are quoting me around 350+ to just have the hood painted, and around 500+ to have the color blended into the fenders so that it all matches perfectly. Should i just scrap this hood and buy another fresh one??

2001 3.8 Black - sold- 2000 SS Black M6
you mean 4th gen?
but yeah, If you can get a new one, already painted, I'd go for that. From what I've been told, getting a single body panel painted, you should expect to pay about $300.
your details say Pewter, but your hood looks black. i'd think black wouldnt really need to be color matched,

Hood
This black hood is from my previous, totaled camaro. I really would like to re-use this hood, but the damage + having it painted seemed quite expensive... And yes, i meant 4th gen. :P
