White Liquid Silver- 2000 Camaro SS/ 02 YZF-R1
Cool ...now you can take up knitting and yoga classes...LoL...J/k...the gas prices are getting crazy, I see myself trying to ride my motorcycle more often this year! The Camaro isn't my worry, it actually gets pretty good gas mileage if I don't hammer on it. My other cars are a 04 F150 Supercrew 4x4 5.4L and my wife has a Lincoln Nav and both get thirsty $100 each fill up...

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
Unfortunately, having one of these cars as a DD is becoming increasing more difficult monetarily. You've either got to have the coin to afford it or not care about the price. Fortunately for me I fall into both categories. Although mine isn't my DD I could afford it but wouldn't care in the 1st place. Good luck!

that sucks!!! My Z actually gets a lot better gas mileage than my DD... the dreaded TBSS!!! 11mpg in the winter! At least the Z gets around 18-20.

Ah man.. I feel bad for the first time you are trying to pass someone or merge in fast traffic but oh well.. I understand your problem. I am weathering the storm - gas will eventually drop a little bit again, and if not, I've got a turbo four banger to drive around and as long as I stay out of boost I'll get like 30mpg (little better), and a Geo Prism to drive. If it gets REALLY bad, I'll get a cheap motorcycle. I don't want to part with my baby any time soon over gas, and I will do what I can do make due otherwise - cut needless spending, etc. I consider gasoline part of my entertainment expense anyway.

omg. you've stooped too low. why not just buy urself a motorcycle instead? get a Ninja, like I have. They aren't too expensive, and they go like hell.

Jetstream Blue Metallic- 2008 Z06 Corvette
Mine is not my DD either, and I wouldn't care for it to be no matter what the price of gas is. I just don't want to put the miles on it. I do own a motorcycle, but the riding season here in Washington is short. So when I needed to get a DD I went with a Miata for several reasons. 6 speed trans, Posi rear end, fully ind. suspension, handles better than the...oops better not say that..and gets 30MPG to boot, while I'm hammering away at 7000 grand all day long! So I understand the need for a different car for your DD, but why a Camry? If you needed a four door car, why didn't you just say so? I own one of those too, so I know the importance of them.

Black- 4th Gen SS
This fuel price stuff is putting such a damper on things. The future (or maybe even the present already) is going to be a bunch of priuses running around instead of hardcore american muscle I'm never getting rid of my SS even if it means I can't drive her as much because of gas prices
Good luck!

Hell, my Trans Am is my gas saver. My other ride is a dodge ram that just loves gas.
I thought about selling my truck for some thing better on gas. But it's paid off and buying another car would cost me more money in the long run since I would have a new car payment.

i do a shitload of city driving, cruising between 40 and 50, lots of stop and goes, so mine dropped to a 23 mpg, but a tank lasts 8 or 9 days. gas in east texas has been hanging out around 3 a gallon

im sure the price of gas and the amount of driving you do did not make buying a hybrid worth the extra price, gas aint that bad bro, sounds like a cop out to me, just get a second car thats good on gas, and save the fun driving in the z
