    Stock Rear End

What is the stock rear end on a 98 Z28? Would we be better off with a possy trac 4:10?

    Sadly now demodded :(

It depends on whether it's an auto (2.73 or 3.23) or an M6 (3.42). This applies to V8 cars. Look on the drivers door for the code.

No actually, Z28s were either 2.73 or 3.23 (GU2 was the code for 2.73 and GU5 was the code for 3.23). All 6 speed f-bodies were 3.42 I believe unless 1993 has something weird going on.

And "acarfordarfur", most people tend to do 3.73s in A4 cars or 4.10s in M6 cars. It should already be a posi rear end.
