    Stock bottom end

    Thinking about getting some prc 5.3l heads and a streetable cam then all of a sudden I thought about getting the maggie s/c after I get the heads and can.... Question is will the block hold probably run the s/c low boost

    8psi is what is recommended on a stock bottom end. Any higher boost levels than that and you have to start worrying.

    The block itself will hold longer than the stock pistons.
