    Seriously?

    Z28 vs SS

Z28 gets a slightly MORE restrictive exhaust, 16" wheels, MORE restrictive intake system, doesnt get the SS handing package although the Z28 could get "a" handling package and upgraded 16" high performance tires.

The SS is the upgrade however the engine, tranny, and rear is the same. However the SS with an automatic got the 3.23 and the regular Z28 had the 2.73 with the GU2 and you had to get the GU5 option on the Z28 to get the 3.23 gears.

Did I forget anything other than some badges and the rear spoiler?

    Bingo, bango, bongo.........nuff said.

Yeah that "factory" free flowing exhaust does wonders.....lol

If you dont change to headers you are KIDDING yourself with power gains from a cat back. But I digress, a fart can on a Honda gives you 30+hp!!!! Seriously, I was watching a Fast and Furious movie and thats how it is, no joke.

The SS does get more attention than the Z28 but I guess having a Z28 is like having a girl with 38D's and the SS is like having 40D's.........lol

Who wants to play with that big of boobs... a girl with a big a** is much more fun to play with
so a Z28 is like a cute perky butt on a girl while a SS is like a girl with a big Bootay

From my experience a big Bootay turns in to a WIDE LOAD truck in the later years.

Boobs like that are fun, I would be like a kitten with 2 balls of yarn! Big bright eyes and paws flying everywhere!

I do agree, they are both fun to play with. I like how you think.

    Gotcha!

SS is an upgraded Z28...........end of story. Hrm, it seems like things flip flop.

67-69 the SS had a larger engine and more HP (rated anyway), the 4th gens the SS had more hp (advertised....), and now the Z28 in the 5th gens is going to have more HP than the SS. GM is strange sometimes.....lol

I sort of wish they would bring back the IROC Z28 again. Then maybe they would do a Z28 SS IROC edition! hahaha

I now there are differance between each, But the money you spend more for the SS you can mod the Z28. I bought a Z28 because it was 2500 dollars cheaper than the SS I was looking at.. My buddy has a SS with true duels/Lid/free mods. I have Lid/Free mods/SLP Y/SLP LM1 My Z28 is faster than his SS. Both being autos and he has 323s and I have 273s. MY best is 8.54@85mph his is a 8.68@84mph.. When I install my Stall/LT's/ORY/373s/160stat/DR's/Tune. My buddy's SS won't stand a chance.

I like the SS hood and spoiler but just the same o want a SS M6 but if I find a Z28 I'll just add a hood, spoiler, and love the CME. Like when I got my TA a new WS6 was alot more money and all I wanted was a RAM air hood so I bought a regular TA and got a new hood. The suspension and wheels are just parts I'd toss anyway.
