    ss third brake light

    having trouble finding 3rd rear brake light for 02 SS. mine is shit and cracked so need a web site that has for SS. thanks, Henry

    Just call slp and get the light, when you install it cut the wire off the old light and use it to fish the new one through otherwise it's a pain then use the old connector, just cut and solder the wires. Don't try to take the connector apart like I did or you have to buy a new one.

    You can take the connector apart from the old light. Once you figure out how the little wire tangs work inside the plastic connector, the wires will slide right out.
    Then I went to GM and bought some of those little connectors for the new SLP light (since the new light doesn't come with a plug )

    Then simply crimped the new metal connectors onto the new SLP light, and slide the plastic surround on until it snaps into place. Then the new SLP light will plug in just as the factory intended, with no cutting and soldering on the harness.
