SS Hits a New "Mile"Stone
No no no no no no no no, don't do it!!!!!!!!!
Well, she made it. On Wednesday afternoon, December 8, 2010 at 4:52 pm central time, For Whom the Bell Tolls going on the stereo, at the on-ramp to Interstate 40 from U.S. Highway 69 in Checotah, Oklahoma, on the way home from work, doing speeds not meant to be done down an on-ramp (non-specific so as to not overly incriminate myself). Congratulations to my Camaro, for taking the beatings I have given her since 88k, February 7th, 2007, for keeping the rubber on the road and not too much in the shop, for being the best car I have had to-date, and for being the platform for my aspirations to come.
Feel free to chime in with or or etc. etc.

Thanks guys. As far as repairs go, in no particular order: fuel pump, water pump, alternator x2 (2nd one was free thanks to warranty), electrical issue with DRL module, ls7 clutch kit went in when my slave and master went out simultaneously at 100k and is still strong. Me and Y2KPewterSS put in pacesetters when my cats clogged up. That's all the major repairs I can recall at this time. Sounds like a lot, but I went from 88k to 200k in less than 4 years. That'll put a strain on any car, she has held up well.
Edit: oh yeah and a radiator, how I forgot that I'll never know. That plastic end is a real weak spot on those, so keep an eye out for leaks.

Nice!
My 3800-II had 209K on her when I sold her a few months back. The mechanic who bought it fixed the intake leak and some other minor things and I still see it on the street from time to time!!

I can't wait to be on 400k with 200k on the next motor That would be awesome. Always thinking ahead
Thanks P!
Sometimes it just takes some minor fixing, the sixers seem to have the ability to put up with a lot of punishment themselves. I think they have harder drivers to deal with than any SS or Z28, those V6 people typically don't give a crap about what they drive or how they drive it.
Thanks Andy!!
We thank you!
Not even close, your car is right off the lot compared to mine But if you drive yours as much as I do mine, you'll be coming up pretty quick. I have AVERAGED over 28k per year over the last 4 years....

LS9 or a ZZ572
Might as well cut the cowl, buy a new hood and just slap a giant roots style blower to it, don't you think? Not sure how close to 300k I would get
You are well on your way I actually think the pain was much worse when I hit that 100k mark. I've been pretty numb about it since 150k or so. Now I have a lifetime goal of maxing out the odometer completely. Wonder how many engines that will take
