Arctic White- '00 Camaro M6 SS #3553
Some random questions
Hey dudes, been a while since I last posted. So, as the title states, I've got a few q's:
I recently broke the pin from my rear-end in half so I'm finally going to upgrade. I'm curious to see what everyone thinks about the Currie Stage II as advertised here:http://www.currieenterprises.com/ces...e_gmfbody.aspx
Next, I've decided that I want to save up for the Lingenfelter 427 package. Does anyone here know anyone personally who has an engine this size in their Camaro and how well it performs? Here's the link to the specs: http://www.lingenfelter.com/pack_cf1998_427l.htm
Also, I chose the rims for my car. Only problem is, I want to make sure they fit! They're the Foose Nitrous Blacks (18"s). Someone help me out here!
And lastly, I've always wondered: There are Mustangs, Vipers, Chargers, Challengers, Cobras, etc., etc. But what the hell is a Camaro? All of the others listed can be categorized as animals or people, but seriously, wtf is a Camaro? And Corvette? Where did they come up with these names?

Jetstream Blue Metallic- 2008 Z06 Corvette
"Discovered in an over-thirty year-old obscure French to English 1935 dictionary, the word "camaro" was appropriately selected as the name of the new car late in 1966"
camaro,sb.f (=comrade) Friend. Les camaros, pals, chums.
I read this myself in a book I bought many years ago, (and had to find to answer your question), called CAMARO! Chevy's Classy Chassis by Ray Miller. Hope you found it entertaining. As far as a Corvette, you're on your own on that one.

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
A "corvette" is a small warship. Straight from the dictionary: 1: A warship ranking in the old sailing navies next below a frigate. 2: A highly maneuverable armed escort that is smaller than a destroyer.
