    smooth bellows q'

I know lots of you guys make your own smooth bellows or get them from homedepot. I actually went to home depot and found a 3'x3' and 4'x4' rubber hose. it looks like it would work but neither are the right size. I need a 3 1/2''x3 1/2''. anyone know where I can get one or how I can make one?

I am confused. The 3x3 has always worked for everyone else. Do you have an aftermarket throttle body?

Don't use that hose...I bought one from home depot several yrs ago..I believe it's called Fernco..And after a week my whisper lid crack because of this hose..That hose is to dam stiff and puts alot of stress on the lid..Get a baker or slp bellows hose, which isn't as stiff as the one from home depot

i've always heard that you get the 3"x3" and boil it in water for about 15 minutes to loosen up the rubber to prevent the possibility of cracking your lid. then you line it up with your tb and trim off some of the rubber on one end until it goes on.

I did boil it in water for several mins but didn't help...I know some guys have it on with no problems and some have problems with it..

true facts the guy that I bought my SS from said that he did the same 3x3 rubber line cooled down (overnight/nights) cooled got stiff then cracked the lid when it tried to go back to shape. He then bought new slp lip $95.65 + S H he then bought slp bellows and made a big difference. He said that the ones you buy has a little ball shaped portion in the middle helps the flow better than strait .
O by the way ebay has one for 55.00 =0 buy int now
