SLP SS Grille Question?

Is the SLP SS Grille "high gloss" black? It doesn't appear to be as high gloss as the SLP Bowtie grille? Or are they the same? Thanks...............

The spot where the emblem goes is a different shape for each. So don't buy the ss one and think you can put the bowtie on it, well you could but it would look weird...

How can i install another grille on my car? Where is the original grille fixed?
I tried to remove it but it would seem to be fixed in the middle behind the grille where i cant see it!
Have i to remove my whole bumper only to remove the grille??

Welcome to LS1.com! You can get to the back of the nose peice/bumper from underneath. There are black panels you can remove to gain access.

I took the bumper off like the instructions stated. It made the removal off the old grill easy and the installation of the SLP grill easy as well. It's not that hard to remove the front bumper.

yeah dude just remove the whole bumper it's easier, espcially when drillin the holes for the grill. I've had the chevy emblem grill on my v6 and an ss on my v8 and they are the same gloss just diff. emblems
