sleeper question..
pardon the newb question, but only take a second to let me know...
if some TSP ported 5.3 heads were put on a ls1 and the casting numbers were ground off, maybe with stock casting numbers stamped in or something, would you guys still be able to tell that it didn't have stock heads on it ?
i was told the ls6 heads have different valve covers on them so you could tell those right off.
also an ls6 intake seems to look pretty identical to the stock one right?
i think you guys pretty much know what i have in mind

The LS6 intake is near identical to an LS1 intake.
LS1 valve covers fit LS6 heads and vice versa. I have never set down and compared a set of LS1 valve covers to a set of LS6 valve covers, but I would assume they are identical honestly.
I don't think the TSP heads will look any different, but can't answer that one for sure.
I had the same ideas as you a while back FYI

thanks man, i'm looking to kind of have all the work on my car done at once in about 6 months when i get my bonus, but i dont think i'll have the opportunity to sit down with all the different cylinder heads and compare them all, so good to know since i would prefer to have my car look stock...
lol...
thanks!
