    Silver Camaro with TTII Pics

I have searched and haven't been able to find one. Anyone have a pic of a 98-02 Silver Z28 with TTII's on it? It would greatly be appreciated as I have recently picked up a set of 17x9.5/11's and am awaiting my tires to come in. Just looking for some pics to hold me over!

Is that the one that looks like it came directly off of a Mustang ?

Can't go wrong with the chrome ZR1 wheel ......

    Thanks!

Yeah I really like the look of the ZR1's a lot also but I gotta a great deal on the TTII's and they were local so I didn't have to pay for shipping. So that always helps! lol

No, they go farther back than that. They are a modern version of the good ole' cragars, one of the most popular wheels on the planet

so true....I think the TT M's look more like a bullitt wheel than the TTII.

i dont know if im with you on that one. rocket racing, cragar, et mags, all had thier version of the same style, but i dont see the connection w/ TTM or TTII wheels. i see them as modern day versions of the original torq-thrust style. [ my post above wasnt for you, i just didnt get the other 2 quotes up]

my comment was simply my opinion .... that Ford RUINED it for the rest of us when they went and made a (stolen design) wheel stock on a newer Mustang ... that I see every day and hate. I think we all want something a little unique.
And no, it does Not have anything to do with old cragers on any car. I had them on several of my cars, and loved them. Still do on old cars.
Besides, I have not seen pics of what was looking for in this thread yet. Depending on the color of the car, and the ofset, it may look nothing like the "mustang look" that first shot into my mind.
There are lots of nice wheels out there. Pick a cool one that you like.

Are people really worried about that??? Just buy what ya like and be happy.
I never thought of it as this wheel or that wheel just because it was on a different brand. If I like the look, I buy it no matter what car it's going on.

Ya they all had their version, and as long as wheel manufactures keep making 5 spoke wheels that resemble the original cragars,,,that's how I will always think of them,,,albiet just a modern version, to put it simply.

I just looked in the Summit catalog ... there aren't many aftermarket wheels even available for "normal" cars these days.
If you have a truck, or a ricer ... you are good to go.
That is why I always tend to stay with an upgraded version of a factory rim.
    I had chrome 5-spokes off a 98-02 on my 1995 Z28.
My 2000 has the chrome ZR1's but I do also like the chrome 6-spoke SS rims, I guess they are 17" ?

your first sentence here is dead on. that is unless you want to spend several thousand $ just on wheels.

    How's this...
For the record, I just bought the car from a friend, and this is technically his picture, but I know he won't mind.

JMO, I agree with Akolher883, I like them on older cars and the Mustang. But I don't think they look right on a 4gen Camaro. I have 17" ZR-1 wheel's which are getting harder to find 315/30zr tires for, very limited in brands and types. The only 18's I like are Corvette's or OZ's 3pc but the OZ's are almost a grand each rim. Ouch!!!

Hey I think the Torq Thrust II's look just fine on my Silver 98!

(Umm by the way, wasn't that why the thread was started? I'm pretty sure my car is exactly what slow46gt asked for...)

I think they look good too. I'm thinking of getting some myself or, maybe getting the Classic Crager SS 17".

I had Cragers on my first Chevelle back in the mid 80's and I still love them

Oh, and I like that body kit
