side exhaust
is a side exhaust even available yet for the fbodies. shit im in CA i dont care about smog laws but the cops are somewhat strict around here, depending on their moods but anyways is there a set up yet? i seen this one but i dont know who this dude is?

No kits if you want to get it done you need to get it custom. Some lake pipe would help with clearance.
Cops in Cali aren't that bad just don't them an excuse to pull you over.

It is a form of side exhaust, he is still going to have to fork the money out for a custom setup.

A friend said the muffler needs to be in the stock location, from experience they don't seem to care as long as the cats are still attached in the stock location.

I dont really like it...just looks out of place for me. There are downsides you might want to consider before doing a setup like that...for example if your at a red light, stop sign, or anywhere where the car is in idle and ur windows are down, there is a posibility of exhaust fumes to get into the cabin. Also going over speed bumps and etc...from that pic exhaust only looks to be a mere 3-5 inches off the ground.

I had side pipes on my 79 malibu, headers, to cherry bomes to tips under each door. The smell of gas wasnt bad. I like side pipes on certain cars, f-body not so much.
