    Should I Ship My Car?

Im getting ready to move from Redding, Ca to Broken Arrow, OK. Its about 2,000 miles. Do you think I should drive my 2000 SS w/42k miles on it or get it shipped?? Does anyone know any reliable shipping companies? Thanks for the help.

See ya when you get here. If you dont care about putting mileage on it, I would just drive it otherwise get it shipped. But I dont know who you could use or how much it would be maybe somone else could chime in tell us.

Although I don't care for bras, I'd probably put one on if I was to drive it that far on a unknown freeway. (road work, debris, etc..)

Drive it, Bra it, Enjoy it...

There is absolutely No Reason not to utilize the great power you have in your garage. Cali to OK, is a perfect drive to grab a few of your favorite CD's and just blast my friend...

The bra is a good idea...

Shipping will get a little expensive, If you got the money or your company is paying for it fine, if not just drive it.

if the car had <10k miles on it, i'd say ship it to keep the mileage down - but 42k miles, drive the bitch! Drive the hell out of it too!

    Sadly now demodded :(

Unless you've got a real good reason not to or somebody else is footing the bill for shipping I'd drive it and enjoy it. These cars are lots of fun on highway road trips.

With that amount of miles, I would just drive it. You may not get very much stuff into it.

Why are you moving to Broken Arrow? I live about 25 miles from there and work there. You'll have to hit me up when you make it out here.

we moved from michigan to cali which is like 2300 miles. we shipped 5 cars out including my trans am with http://www.dasautoshippers.com/ everything worked out well. we didn't want to put the miles on the cars, but some of them only have about 10k miles.

If you decide to ship it take a look at Intercity Lines also. Had them ship my car in an enclosed carrier from CT to CA back in 2002. Cost me about $1500 and took about 4-5 days.

Thanks for all the replies guys, I appreciate it. So at 2000 miles and me getting around 26 mpg at the avg premium gas price of $3.33 its gonna cost me around $250. I looked at some bras and they seem to be around $80 or so. The best price on shipping on a non-enclosed trailer I found was $690. So im still not sure what im gonna do, but im thinking road trip...

We have one in our town. They do have good pizza, but I won't get any from them anymore. Their employee's do not have any idea about sanitary practices. The last time I got was there I was sitting in there waiting for my pizza to be made and the last person on the cash register did not clean their hands after handling money doing their hair and making the next persons pizza with no gloves or any thing. I called the health department and they said they had numerous complaints and was going to stop there again. Just make sure your on your employees about sanitary practices. Sometime I'll go back and see if they have improved at all cause I really like the pizza. Good luck with it!
