    Rear defrost?

Ok so I am just now realizing that my 99 ss that has white leather power seats, cd player, ac power everything, does not have a defrost button. I have the wires in the back window but no button are you kidding me. Do I really not have defrost? Not to mention my pedal sticks to the floor during normal driving and I have to pull it up with my foot then pump it at every red light. But yea the main question is do I serously not have defrost? The clutch thing im in the process of getting a new master cylinder.

Is it possible a previous owner removed the label from the button and wired it for some other function?

    Sadly now demodded :(

Rear window defrost was an option. The rear hatch glass would be devoid of the heater grid if your car didn't have it. As you have the grid in the glass you have it. Like stated above, prior owner may have used the switch for another function (N2O arming?)

Check the RPO codes on the door for C49, rear window defogger. Maybe the glass was replaced.

Yea I started looking at pics of everybodys interiors and realized I do not have that button that's crazy. But I do have the heater grid so I will check that code when I get home. Thanks everybody.

i think the pedal sticking to the floor, would be prioty over the defrost, that would bother the shit out of me and maybe very dangerous, spray some lube on your throttle cable, work it with your hand, , but please fix that first imo,,,,,,,,,,,terry

Good call, hadn't thought of that. And good info on the RPO code.
