IS this really an SS?
Hey, can someone run this VIN and tell me if this car is actually an SS, it has the emblems, but i just realized when i was looking at photos of it and the other one, that on the inside above the radio, to other one says CamaroSS, and the main one im looking at just says Camaro? maybe some SS's didnt say SS on the inside? or does that pretty much mean its not a real SS? Info would be appreciated, im suppose to drive 30 minutes away to look at it tommorow..

Also, if i do go look at this tommorow, is there any surefire things i can look for to tell if it is an SS or not? Numbers on the door panel or anything? I just noticed this right now, and its starting to trip me out because this is the highest potential car im going to buy, i want to be sure its an SS before i buy it.

The SS dash plaque was an "option" on SS's not standard, so it is not an indicator if the car is an actual SS or not. However, the door jam sticker will list RPO code WU8 if it is an authentic SS and Y2Y if it has any additional SLP options beyond the standard SS items. Good luck.
