    Radiator problem

Will a radiator from a 97 lt1 fit on a 99 ls1 because i think my plastic tank has a hairline crack at the seam and my brother has a lifetime warranty on his radiator in his car so we were just gunna get a new one sent to us. i have been told that an ls6 was put on an lt1 radiator..??seems like it would work to me??? SOMEBODY ENLIGHTEN ME!

Yes it will fit.....but you have to cap off one fitting at the bottom/left of radiator. LT1 had one different fitting than an LS1. Just use a rubber cap and hose clamp....very simple fix. I recommend you get a '93-'96 radiator and not a '97. The '93-'96 radiator is bigger than the '97. Although a '97 is slightly bigger than any of the LS1 ('98-'02).
