    Question out of curiosity

Would a bone stock ls1 benefit from a good tune? im not gonna do it because i have full exhaust on the way, 4:10 gears (hopefully) and a texas speed cam (maybe heads). i was just wondering what kind of improvement it would yield. Any more torque?? i heard the factory tune was pretty thin. Let me know....

You can unleash alot of power with a good tune !!! I had Texas Speed tune my ECMs' ( LS1 Edit ) until I got the HP Tuner software. My LS1 motor is stock w/ ported heads & cam w/ alot of bolt-ons, got her in the high 10's !!!
Good Tuning !!! Good Luck, Bill
    Oh ya, forgot the 150 dry shot !!! That's .5 sec !!!

You could benefit from a tune. Maybe a couple of horses.

No way to give an exact number but If I had to guess, I would say 10-15 hp. Now you can also change the shift points or get rid of tq mgmt. Read the check engine lights. I would get HPT as a first mod. You will need to have it with the gear install as well as any future mods. Plus getting it sooner than later gives you time to learn how to work it.
