I have seen 14.1 to 13.2... The 12.9's while they are out there are rare.. More info would be a great help.

i read i deal about the 01s they didnt have parts or somethin so they just used what parts they had so some got bigger cams some got better heads but i think its prolly true because you do see alot of ls1s that are quick as shit with no explanation

01's and 02's got the ls6 intake.. That was it.. Some got the LS6 block but still had the LS1 internals... NONE came with bigger cams or heads..

They only difference between 00 and 01 the intake... You can buy ls6 intakes or heck a Fast intake... FYI the 01 and 02 cam's iirc were smaller.

I think the brand I found was edelbrock but not sur it was an oversized ls6 replica basically but made to bolt directly to the ls1 without changing anything it was aluminum instead of plastic though I think $600 and they were claiming 12-14 rwhp just from putting it on there

What is iirc anyway? I'm not real smart on what number means what on cams but I've been reading and I think I'm gonna go with 232 234 .595 .598 112 comp cams prolly for the brand but I know 112 is the lobe seperation but all I know about the lobe seperation is 112 is supposed to be a choppy idle where the 114 sounds more like stock and the other numbers have to do with valve duration but don't know other than that

Wasn't the 12.9 run a stock SS that someone put DR's on? I know that video is floating around somewhere, but I'm too lazy to look.

Yup that's the one.... red SS. It had Drag Radial tires on it and that's it.

12.9 with perfect: track conditions, DA, temperature, tires, driver... Get the picture? And I'm not certain that car wasn't "tweaked" (beaucoup SLP parts and tune + tires).

Fastest stock (no mods, no tune, stock RSA's) LSI F-body I ever saw here in PHX went ran high 13.2x's. This was during the winter with a temp of ~60 deg and a DA of ~1200'.

FWIW, my stock 2.73 geared 2002 Z28 went a best of 13.7x. Tires, gears, exhaust and a tune took that down to 13.0x. Stall and tranny mods took that down to 12.5x.
    67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...

2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior

    2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.
