Haven't done it personally but it should fit just fine. I don't have a power ant on my Firebird but I do on my Camaro and looking it at the space and fittings seem to be the same.

I'm always happy to support a fellow Black Camaro, let me know when it's time to vote.

    will do....

have any cotm contestants gone for the blacked out look?

i know tss, but i think the only other black car i've seen was "wicked witch"

so apparently black cars have a good fan base here?

They have a fan base everywhere. I don't care who you are or what color you own everyone (sans SOM, those are sick), loves a clean Black Fbody. But getting it clean and keeping it clean are the tricky part.

yeah tell me about it, i've had two navy blue metallic birds, and my parents live out in the country.... i would go 2mph the whole way there and it would still be filthy...

before i started school, i did details at a dealership.

now i do them on the side, so it's fun to me cleaning my car. i really enjoy and black is one of the most satisfying cars to look at and say job well done.

Good to know, I'll have to pick your brain on best practices for detailing. Especially wax, polish and layering.

    www.gmpartsdirect.com
10402859 ANTENNA (part number is old now, need new one)
12117322 CONNECTOR (cig lighter wire harness to hook up)

The antenna part number has changed you might need to contact GM to get the new part number

Its a very easy mod to do. I followed this walkthu for install and wired in a switch to power it up and down while the car/radio is on.

why did you wire a switch instead of just hooking into the back of the radio to activate the antenna
