picked up a 99 camaro ss conv

Over the summer I sold my 97 lt1 ss and I kind of miss it. Well a few weeks ago I picked up a 1999 camaro ss conv which needed lots of TLC interior and exterior but engine wise it was perfect runs like new. I have owned many fbodys and never owned a conv. I will tell you guys this the ls1 is a big difference from the lt1 which are both bone stock. Here are some crappy phone pics enjoy.

Wheather is crappy in chicago so I have not taken good pics. So far the only mods are a k&n filter and lid and billitt grill and ss emblem and shorty antenna. All i have left to due is install 15% window tint which my buddy tints profesionally so it's just a matter of taking it in.

Thats cause I already had a few body panels painted they were faded from it being a Georgia car almost it's whole life, i also had the rear bumper srayed cause it had spyder cracks. I also upgraded the stock silver rims to chrome ones I traded my buddy plus some cash for his chrome zr1 rims.

Imo, i always that that the camaro vert was better looking than the trans am vert. Just flows with the car better.

Auto or manual?

I agree a 100% the camaros flow alot better in verts than t/a.

It's a auto just a cruiser too take my daughter to car shows or get grocery's.

great looking car and color. i have a 98 ss vert same color. mine is not stock at all, lol. the only bad thing is there is a lot of blind spots with the top being so big and the window so small. have fun with it.

i have the clear lights on all four corners. stainless steel hood grille insert. and slp front lower grille. the tannue cover (sp) has been sold.

just finished getting the 396 in it. just needs a tune.

guy dyno at 540 with a 400 trans and a 3200 stall. i have a 4k stall. and 4l60e trans. hope for close to 500 rwhp. i just wants 10's really one motor.
