Paint Job
Anyone know of any good autobody shops that will paint my car black in the NJ area ? I currently have pewter and I can't stand it. I want to put a baseball bat to my car every time I look at it. If anyone knows of any good places in NJ to get your car painted for a reasonable price, please let me know !

i admit pewter isnt my favorite color but with the rite wheels and tires on the look pretty good but just know that any paint guy doesnt like to have to paint the door jams trunk area and under the hood to make it all one color its a big pain in the butt for them to have to sand in all those tight spots worry about overspray and dont think your not gonna shell out some big bucks for them to do that.

Yeah I absolutely want black. Every rim I look at looks disgusting on my car, no offense to anyone else that owns pewter. I think I'm going to just sell it after a year or something because I'm still financing. I'll look into ultimate collision though. This pewter thing has been killing me since the day I bought it, I just couldn't find any better deal around me.

just to let you know it cost a lot to do a complete paint on a car. from 2000-7500+ for a good job, if you think your car is worth it and that is your most deseribol color do it, and most of all if your going to keep it, DO IT, but if not leave as same and for that money for that paint job you can buy blower and NX and have 600 HP with a paint job that you dont like.
i rather have a color that i dont like that runs/looks perfect that is faster then most out there

You're an 18 yo kid with a car like that and you think it's gay? I think you don't appreciate what you have nor do you deserve it IMHO! Sell it and buy a Honda....

I'm paying for the car myself, I'm not going to dish out over $1000 a month between car/insurance/garage/gas if I don't like what I have. This car is a very important financial decision an I need to do what's best for me. If I'm not happy with it, why keep it as it is ? I would never buy a honda anyway. I'd get a 3rd gen or a fox mustang.

I'm NOT trying to burst your bubble here kiddo, and you appear to have your head on straight. I mean, you must have a good paying job to afford those kind of payments, and my own kids couldn't do it, so my hats off to ya. That being said...a black car is not easy to maintain for a daily driver, and by the look of your pic there, you like to keep your car clean. Unless you're prepared to cover your car when you go to work, she'll be filthy by the time you come back. They do get hot in the summer, and the scratches...oh the scratches! Lets say you walk out and find a 'deposit' from your favorite pidgeon, knowing it's eating away your precious paint, you have to be so careful not to do permanent damage just getting the crap off!!!! Anyway..again, not trying to rain on your parade..just preparing you for the daily living with a black car. Mines not even my dd and it's a hand full.
