New mods, very happy with results, would like to share!
I recently had pacesetter longtubes, tsp y pipe, ls1 heads ported & pollished,(stg 3) and an 03 ls6 zo6 cam installed, along with tune and am very surprised with the results. Prior mods were slp lid and magnaflow exhaust. It is a daily driver and wanted to keep that drivability and gain as much power as possible. it is now a real sleeper! Solid bottom and top end power. 385rwhp! just wanted to share this info with anyone who is trying to acheive the same kind of performance. Had this done in east Texas by a young man who did an excellent job! Anyone interested in this area chime in and i will pass on contact info!

if you would cut out the y pipe and run true duels with an x pipe, get rid of the cats and mufflers, you would get to 400 rwhp

Please don't publicly post any information about who did the work though. That violates our forum rules.

Nice to see someone else using the LS6 cam with real results posted.
I agree with Silver35th, there is probably a bit more to be found in the exhaust system if you can tolerate more noise. That is if you are searching for more HP.
What you have sounds good to me, and should still drive and sound like a stocker. Good 60 foot times would put the car in the low 12's easily enough.

Considering how mild the cam is you probably wouldn't want duals since most are rather loud. Congrats must drive like stock till you nail it

cats r gone silver and not really interested in cut outs or running true duals. and yes when u nail it, it's alive and loud! sitting at idle u can hear a small lope, it is a true muscle car sound now when u mash it. deep and throaty! send me an email blanger10@yahoo.com and i will pass on the person who did the work. Im having my zo6 done next. can't wait!
