black- 98 SS camaro
New guy here
Hello eveyone. I just purchased a 98 Camaro SS, I have been wanting an LS1 for awhile now and came across this SS one 3 days ago. It is black with red ss emblems, leather, T-tops, automatic, 115000 miles. I drove it off of the lot for $7500. So I figured I got the actual car for about $7000 not counting the tax title and license. I didn't think that was a bad deal. The car drove like a dream. Everything works on it. Just curious if you guys think its a good deal??
Thanks

I believe it is mostly stock, It has the B&M chip where you can adjust the way it shifts, (don't know exactly what its called) it has 3 different setting 1 dot, then off, then 2 dots where it shifts the hardest. and magnaflow exhaust, Z-r1 rims.

For that price who cares if it's a real SS or not....now if you spent 20k then I could see the problem. It's probably a rebadged Z28 with aftermarket SS hood and spoiler....but like I said, for $7500 who cares.

I found the sticker, WU8, When I said B & M chip, I called it that because I don't know the name of it, It is like a little on and off switch that is by the driver's seat, It is supposed to make it shift harder, has 3 settings, 1 dot, off and then 2 dots for harder shifting. Someone on a different post ran a check on it. Had Wu8 in it too and said it meant SS or sent to Canada for the SLP conversion.
