The upper dash pad/trim piece. What is the deal with the ambient light sensor and alarm warning light? do they clip on the new dash pad or just line up with the 2 holes on the middle of the defrost vent?

they should twist into the two holes on the top. When i bought mine the guy said he put a new dash pad in, a few weeks later i heard it crack at the lower left of the defrost vent. not noticable though so i'll leave it alone.

I just got mine put in a few weeks ago thanks to Preston. One of the easiest installs of anything on my car I've ever done. And yes, what he said about the sensors attaching to the pad...I know for sure that the alarm light does, can't remember about the ambient light sensor...
