need steering help!

i have a 98 ss and i have put on 2 ps pumps already and it still makes the sqeeling noise could it be my rack & pinion? and how diffecult of a job is it to change it?

i know on my 98 mustang cobra it wasn't a hard job.. i think on our cars it is a little more time consuming, it does sound like the rack though if it is usually loud, are you sure you have enough fluid in the system?? is it old and burnt up? also i know lucas makes a powersteering additive that really helped a leak on my bmw 540 a few years back. i do believe you need to drop your k member down if i can remember correctly.

yea the fluid is full, but it feels like the r&p isnt circulating the fluid cause its hard to turn the wheel sometimes when the car is warmed up

well i kno on my 98 i couldnt get the bolts out that hold the rack on. they hit the bottom of the oil pan.
