    Question Need some guidence.....

Back in march I smashed(broke the passinger side spindale) up my z and have been getting parts for the rebuild and I was wondering if theres anything that I should know before I get started.Im not only fixing it im also trying to make it handle better the before. This is what i have so far (all UMI)

    Tubular lower control arms
    Non-ajustable panhard bar
    Bolt in tubular subframe connectors
bolt in lower control arm relocation brackets
    upper and lower a-arms
    tubular k-meber

me and a freind are doin all the work our selves, except for the body work.I read up alot already and access to a lift and any tools I could need.Im not to confedent that i have everything i need for the front bumper. Do i need to replace the hole radiator support or just the the reinforcement? and i know that the first one just shows the damage and the 2nd is just a bit closer, the third is the bumper reinforcement i was talking about and the last one is self explanatory.Ive been dying to get back on the road and go a couple of rounds with my buds new sti so any help is appreciated!!!

    Michael

well, first of all, you guessed right, the links are part dealers.
i've purchased parts from lmperformance.com and rockauto.com. both have decent international shipping rates and good telephone support. but keep in mind: importing parts means 3.6% toll and 19% sales tax! but it's often still cheaper than buying from a german dealer.
us speedshop don't work on parts, they're just dealers (they ship to anywhere in europe). very good deals on general maintenance stuff (for german standards), and nice guys. i'm pretty sure they speak english. no online shop.
i don't know when you get back to the states, but the heads/cam thing will be WAY cheaper there. also, it's kinda tuff to find people who know our cars here. especially for a tune!

by the way: how did you wreck that front?

    ...i searched a bit:

http://www.henriks-racing.de/ those guys seem to be the performance engine guys you're looking for, but they are up north (between hamburg and hannover).

http://www.corvette-mike.de/index.html this guy seems to be specialising in ls engines and he's in the south.

http://www.corvette-bien.de/ he's down south, too. seems to be a dealer with shop.

    hope this helps a little...

Parts dont realy cost any different for me since im active duty army.so aslong as it can be sent to an apo address then im good.

And as for the wreck it happened way back in march.Me and some friends went to a car get together(i was the only domestic)which there was some nice cars.there was even a greddy rx-8 that was in tokyo drift movie.Like i said i was the only domestic so i was known as the muscle car guy(that felt good)so as we were leaving i whent to accelerate and lost traction(it rained awile before) swerved for a bit and almost whent head on to a renualt but saved it in time to just clip the hell out of it.My insurance said it was "totaled"(germany). That was almost five months ago and i finaly have what i need to get it back on the road.
