Need Help!: Intake
Hello, I have just recently gotton a 95 z28, and was thinking about getting some sort of cold air intake/air box. I found this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=38634
Is it any good? my limit is about $250, (im a full time student )
I was also thinking about a Slp Air Box. I really dont know THAT much about these things, and I could sure use some help
P.S the smilies on this board are awesome!

The kit one of my neighbors has is plastic don't know the brand but that looks like it operates the same, only thing is some may say heatsoak which might be there since it is sitting in the hot engine bay not a big issue. Looks cheep enough I would like to see the filter.
what happened to the black car?

It had a blown head gasket, and a rear differential leak. Either way this one is much better

I dunno, I'm always kind of weary of those ads on craigslist/ebay where I don't really know too much about the company. I would agree with the others though, it does look like it's plastic but it's cheap enough to give it a shot. I'm also from the bay, San Jose!

Again, thanks for the input! there is a 60 return policy, so I will try it out.
All bay area's in this thread!
Also a question about MAF Sensors, All the ads on ebay say "MAF Adapter will be included for vehicles which requires one"
How do I know if I need one? I cant tell if I have a MAFLast edited by manarth5103; 09-01-2009 at 10:41 AM.

Livermore I have gone down for the rare shows they have in milpitas with the old norcal-lsx members, mostly go to the shows in concord. I have not gone to the union city show in a while. Have you ever hit the cruises my avatar is from one of the last big ones you can see a bigger pic on the homepage.

yeah thats it. i just had mine recently replaced.. i wanna get a k&n cold air intake and get an elbow to go with it. i was looking at jegs.com and found some.. for $90 ehh.
just wondering how hard is it to take out the MAF and connect it back to the new elbow and intake? is the MAF delicate or not really?
