My Toy 35th 02 Z28
Just want to share..... Haven't been here for a while.
2002 Z28 35th Anniversary
This is what it looked like when I bought it. Have it for almost a year and a half. I had the windows tinted before I took the pictures.
First thing I did was add the car stereo.
Then added a Co-Pilot. Can't really fit a person back there comfortably anyway.
I then decided I wanted the badge to stand out more and I carefully... painted the letters white.
I like white guages.
Got a black rear panel from a junk yard. Put the white overlay on the emblem so it would stand out more and got a set of polished stainless steel letters with black etching for the rear panel.
Right now I'm working on the hood and grill.... Fiberglass sucks....
Cell Phone Picture.
After the hood and nose is finished the only thing I want to add is a white SS type spoiler for it. Then I think I'm done.
I think.

very nice...although i don't understand the appeal of putting trans am hoods on everything that's not a firebird.

Actually I can understand what you mean. I almost didn't get this hood because of it being the Firebird style but I looked over my choices and everything else was really boring IMO. The only other style I liked was the Camaro SS style. I didn't want to do the SS hood because it's not an SS. I don't want a clone SS. I am having the same trouble picking out a spoiler for the same reason. I don't really want to put an SS spoiler on it but i think it needs something different back there. But I have seen a few Z28's with the SS type spoiler. I'll figure it out sooner or later.
Thanks all for the kind words.
