my poor camaro
Well I'm driving down I-95 doing the speed limit at 70mph. when the guy in the right lane decided that he wanted to be in my lane. He hit my passenger side door and put me into the wall at that speed. My car caught air and was severly fucked up. A night in the hospital and a month to fix my camaro, this sucks!!!! At least the 80 year old idiot got the ticket and his insurance will cover the 8,200 repair bill. On a serious note the accident scared the hell out of me and a split second I could have been dead. When I saw the car I couldn't believe I'm walking. This was a life changing experience for sure.

Thanx for kind words everyone. Unfortunately I have no pics of the car. I was hauled off in the ambulance and my friends at the body shop already have it torn apart. My insurance was gonna totall it out so my friend a euro-tech collision took over the job and really helped me out. Geico was going to totall my car 7,200 dollars. WTF!!! A 2002 ss for 7,200, thats crazy. Glad I have good friends. I will post pics as soon as I get it back. Again thanks to everyone for the kind words

Black SS SLP#8834- 2002 35th Anniversary LS1
Do you recall wearing your seatbelts?
These F-bodies are azz light on a nearly empty tank while driving in the rain at high speeds I noticed.
That was a beautiful SS, plans for another one or heavier 5th gen?

My seat belt saved my life for sure. Im having the car repaired at a friends bodyshop so it will be as good as new in about a month. I just had the cats removed with a full custom laptop tune and exhaust system done, also had the car painted a month ago, bad luck or what?

Glad to see you're OK and that your car will get fixed.
Word to the wise: GEICO charges cheap because they don't pay out.

Glad you are ok. Never use Geico ins. on a nice car. Its cheap ins. for cheap inexpensive cars. Like mustangs.

Yes geico sucks!!!! Thanks to all for the support, it's nice to have friends that care. It was a horrible experience but I look at things in a new way. I will be back on the road in no time and my first trip will be to the local drag strip.
