    2002 Z28

    My New Z28

Well, I finally found the right car for me. I found a 2002 SILVER Z28 (A4) with 37,000 miles in Daytona Beach. I drove down and took a look and drove it. It had two areas that had some scratches on it, but I was pretty sure I could work with the two areas with some polish and a buffer, so I over looked them. Super clean exterior and the engine looks brand new. No noticeable leaks around the rear axle and the only aftermarket mod on it was a 3" pipe frrom the y-pipe back and a MAGNAFLOW muffler. Besides needing to lower the car, I need to find some wheels, not keen on the stock 16" wheels it come with.

    Thanks for the help guys,

    Micah

    sweet ride

dude, sweet ride. i know you said that you wanna lower it, and it will look sweet as hell lowered, but trust me dont lower it. mine is lowered and i wouldnt have done it. it looks sweet but where i live here in wisconsin the roads are rough and uneven so the lowering isnt workin for me. i guess if your roads are nice and smooth where you live and you like a stiff ride go ahead. just my thoughts

Thanks for the comments. I do plan on lowering it. I had a 1999 Z28 and lowered it (had the RS ground effects) and at times it stunk, but over all it was a great appearance mod and I loved it.

Theres a few pics in that thread. They are from the summer. Lookin to drop the car next with the eibach prokit.

Some black ZR-1's would look sweet with the prokit too.

Your tint is sick. I wish i could tint my windows in my state and not get pulled over...

Thanks for the link. BTW, I bought the car with the tint that is on it. I am really looking forward to wheels and dropping it a bit. Love that HOOD! I had that, but couldn't get it shipped to HAWAII without paying an arm an a leg. Funny you mentioned the SILVER, tonight went up to BABIES R US and there was a SILVER SS parked there.

Does the SS come with the SILVER top? I thought that the V8 model CAMARO had the BLACK tops.

Not sure about that silver top thing, someone else on here will know tho. Mine is a Z and has the black, and its a t-top car.

Yea i know there are some shops around here that will tint my car but it's only a matter of time until i get pulled over for speeding and/or burnouts or something. I know they will make me get rid of it then.

That hood is growing on me, at first i wasn't sure. Now i like it better than the SS hood. Plus it came with the car when i bought it so i can't complain much. Sucks you can't get one shipped there.

Car looks really clean man, nice buy!

The hood could have been shipped out there, but it would of cost me more than what the hood was worth. Doesn't matter, I sold it to someone and I am back on the mainland and will enjoy the new ride. Besides some minor things, the car was a good find and I am pleased that I held out.
