My Love for my Z is not Dead yet.....

Instead of geting ready to lay the dough on a 2011 Mustang GT 5L, I am leaning towards keeping the Z and fixing her up the way I want.

Eibach sportlines + KYBs replaced by Stranos + Possibly Bilstein HDs or Koni
Getting Stainless long tubes with a catted Y and will have my exhaust fixed up (hangs low and tips stick out too far I HATE looking at it lol) .

If all goes well and the ride is smooth this summer I'll be getting a new Clutch, rear end rebuilt and adding a cam with new valvetrain and possibly heads.

Sometimes when mods just aren't satisfying (cutting corners with cost) the easiest way out is to sell. Wife is ready to pop any day now and she asked to keep the camaro. So I figure if I do I have an excuse to drop some cash and get her fixed up.

If all goes well by summer I'll drop some coin on some decent 19 or 20' staggered wheels.

    Hopes are high

Why go back to square 1? You already have a great car.

i doubt a bolt on 4th gen will crush the 5.0s. ..considering 4xx in a 3800 pound car is nothing for the 4th gens to laugh about

Sorry there should have been a comma there. But I dont see a problem with a cam only 4th gen say with a 224/224 and full bolt ons beating up on a new 5.0 the 4th gen should easily 380hp at the wheels with a good tune and the new mustang will likely be around 340ish at the wheels stock and a bit heavier.

Well I think I'm decided to actually sell the Z. Strano springs are out of stock. Not sure if I have the patience to wait for more. There was someone here with promise for stainless headers to produce a modified quality version for a decent price. He's dissapeared and doesnt return emails. I've pretty much lost patience. I was ready to drop the credit card and just order everything because I needed change and fast. Maybe I'm just frustrated but I placed a few enquiries for Mustang builds so I'm awaiting the prices. Looks like I'll be in a Mustang by summer
