To be more specific, it's a chambered muffler, much like the chambered system offered as an OEM option back in 1969 for a short period of time on camaros and chevelles. Was also the same type muffler used in all the optional sidepipe vettes from 65-70. There is a manufacture now that reproduces these systems for the old iron.

GMMG repops it now for the 4th gens. It was louder back then but it's still loud now

i have cme, so i will be keeping those tips on, should give it a slightly different tone, im hoping for the best, and after i put on my lt's it will sound even better

You have to hit the > " < button first, it's the button to the right of the one spelled quote....you can grab as many as you want...and then hit the quote button. see above I did it twice before hitting quote. You can do it man...LOL
