buy a lq9 408 or something of that sorts...but just the shortblock so you can use the heads from your previous build..and sell the ls1 for scraps or something of that sorts ..you could part

I agree with Shady. Ya don't have to sell the whole car.

AHH dude, make sure its really seized before you go any further. Sorry but I have seen so many people just assume that its something major and It could be something like the starter. Pull the starter and have autozone check and also make sure you have power at the starter.

i got power to the starter everything works this was my first car i didnt take care of it i think it had a oil leak or sometin cause i added2 quarts of oil then a month later my car stopped workn just now and i checked the oil wasnt none in my car so i was driving my car with no oil in it

I was driving my car hard then i was just goin down the street regular and i hit my gas but the rpms didnt go up or nuthing the car stayed at idle i hit the gas a few more times and nothing happened so i get to a stoplight turn the car off and turned it back on the car acted like it didnt want to start but started real weak i hit the gas rpms didnt go up so i turned it off again and tried it again and it never started back up

everything will swap over and is pretty easy. you just need to drill and tap one hole.

yes sir...the silverado ss has a lq9 and so does the escalade...make sure they came stock with the 60 liter and not the 5.3 and you'll be set....it might be cheaper to try to get a longblock from a salvage yard around your area
