    My AC Delco died... (Pic)

So long wimpy 550 CCA! I ended up picking up a Duralast Gold....

I was considering an Optima, but hadn't heard good things about them lately.

For some reason I'm kind of in a picture posting mood......

Nice clean engine bay. I have to say an Optima Red Top would look better in there. I have had ok luck with the Duralasts though in the past.

I had one red top in my fox body that didn't wanna crank over after the first year and I had another one in my 97 firebird that tried to explode on me and the top swell up. Switched to duralast gold batteries and haven't had a problem yet and it's going on 6 years now

Thanks, it's really not that clean though. My cell phone just didn't do a good job of picking up all the little flaws. When the weather actually gets above 40 or 50 without raining I plan on detailing the engine bay properly.

I agree that a red top would've looked better, but I'm not so sure about their product as of late......

I had my 98 sit in the driveway for 2 years until I got the tranny rebuilt (Not my DD anymore).

Jumped it and started it 3 or 4 times during that period.

I thought the Duralast gold would for sure be dead just sitting in there. Charged it up and it works great. Been driving the car off an on for the last 2 months with no issues from the battery.
