what do u all think would win my friend has a v6 that he put a lt1 in its a 95 camaro and im lookin to buy a ls1 car just wanna see if stock to stock who would win ?

The LS1 should win in a perfect world, but.....say the LS1 driver misses a shift or something else happens. Then the LT1 would probably win.

Like I said, the ONLY way to find out is to race, not debate on the net.

if both the engines are running well, the drivers are equal, and they are both stock... the ls1 will win
the ls1 is a much more efficient engine in every way

ls1=305-315hp

My stock 96 Z28 vert dynoed 240rwhp; stock 02 Z28 dynoed 306rwhp. I'd take the bone stock (01-02) LS1 car over a CAI and exhaust only LT1 car every time.

If you are in an LS1 and he is in a LT1 stock on stock, it won't be a race it would be a chase. The ls1 would do circles around that car.

An LS1 is an LS1. The HP differance is barley anything. The 01/02 models have the ls6 intake on them, but the 98-00's have a larger cam. Either way u prolly wont feel the differance of a stock 98 and a stock 02. U might, but it wont be much

and plx dont bother w/ rice unless u no hes gonna give u a good run. Ex stock civic si vs stage II or III srt4. I went after rice when i first got my car, now i dont even bother with them, unless there making decent power. I havent killed anything in my town, cuz no1 wants to race, but iv beat a few respectible cars. Now waiting for more parts to come in, and im going after a terminator.

I used to have a LT1, then I got an LS1 and its so much better and more powerful at stock level.
