    LS6 Heads, Cam, Intake for my LS1

    I have a friend who works at a Corvette perf. shop (which name i shall not mention), they often remove stock LS6 stock heads, intake manifolds, t/b's and camshafts from guys going the stroked route. They have a large quantity of these in their shop. He has managed to acquire me an LS6 intake manifold, and a camshaft and has told me hes getting me the heads and t/b.

    Before i would bolt all of it on it would obviously be inspected to meet spec of the stock parts.

    Does anyone know how much power i could expect to make?

    Does this seem worth the trouble of going through a decently involved install?

    Any comments or info would be appreciated.

    umm does the LS6 Throttle isn't computer drivin... you should expect 405 if its a 02 cam... i would get the heads and manifold and buy yourself a cam you should expect bigger numbers with a bigger cam than a LS6

    Expect about 370 RWHP with that setup. It wouldn't be worth it IMO, but it all depends on your personal goals for the car.

    I'm driving the car everyday and looking to stay near a stock look/sound with more power than Im making now. 370 is around 50 more wheel than its putting down now. I could definitely do a more powerful setup, but i feel as if i would be sacrificing everyday drivability.
