Ls1 from corvette...

i was just wonderin cause i am able to buy this ls1 from one of my teachers
but it is from a corvette.. not really sure what year corvette

but will it fit in my 98 camaro??
it kinda looks too big to fit
but im not sure and he isnt either..

so just... help please

of course it will fit, cause 98-02 had the ls1 in them, how much is he asking for it?

97-98 Had 806 heads, 99-00 Had 853 heads, and 01-04 had 241 heads If age is important to you, and yes it will fit but, more than likely will need the oil pan for a camaro.

Size wise an LS1 is an LS1 is an LS1......

Cam, heads, intake and exhaust wise there are differences though....

Corvette also runs a different accessory drive layout than F-body. You will need to change this out using the parts from your existing motor.
