Is this a LS1?
I'm kind of confused by this ad. Is this a LS1 or a misprinted V6?

Blue- 1968 Chevy Camaro RS 327
thats definetly miss printed. You can tell be the rims, and the beefiness of the car. And plus, no V8 camaro on the website will sell for the cheap. So yea, its a 6 cylinder

I can't tell.
Not sure what wheels came on what models.
Price tells me V6 though.

Silver top =V6, Those wheels don't mean anything those are what came on my Z28. That just puts a limiter (130 mph fuel cutoff) on V8 models with those rims on it. Also with no badges RS/SS/or Z28 thats another indicator of a V6 car unless someone took them off. It's not an RS as the ad says as well no body kit on it. Just a plain jane V6 camaro.

not all V8 camaros have a black top. B4C cars have a painted roof.

Yeah I'd have to say misprint, the color matched top usually means v6 there are exceptions but I don't think this is one of them.

18D Cock Diesel- 1999 Z28; 98 SS #2043 RIP
Why don't you just call the toll-free number on the ad adn ask??????? It would cut through the speculation.
The price puts it on the V6 range.

Dunno for sure I was told because the tires were not Z rated. I know mine starts nosediving at 130. Mine had those rims and tires I don't remember as i got rid of them a while ago. B4c's were the only Z's that didn't come with a black top. However ordering a painted top on a Z was an option just not a very used one black was standard.

that is a good point which just segued me into another point. a v6 camaro could very well look like a z28 and vice versa if you ordered it that way. some v6's came with dual exhaust from the factory (probably not the same rectangular tips but...). its all a matter of what options were ordered. im sure there are a couple color matched roof z28' s running around out there....
and thats weird because i thought most all z's came with the same tires?
mine is pretty much ok even to 150 believe it or not. but i have 275s on the back now and they are alittle suspect so i get a bit white knuckled at the limit now, but for a car that has around 310 hp stock, my z rides pretty smooth. i have always been suprised with this.....

My 02 Z has those rims (although my snowflakes are chrome) as well as the GoodYear RSA 245-50-16 Z rated tires. I had it up to 145 (2.73 gears) before I started playing with the PCM.

you can tell it's a v6 because all v8 models have a black top. All v6 model's top's are the same color of the car
