    Low Mileage SS

I'm looking to buy an SS and I have found one at a local dealership with 2,500 miles on it. With the car having that low of miles, I know that it has been sitting for a while. Would this be a good car to purchase or am I going to have more problems with than its worth?

What year car is it? Either way, I would think with that low of miles, it would be a trouble free buy, unless the car was wrecked, rebuilt and put back out on the market. If you are seriously interested, perhaps pay a good mechanic to look it over good before signing the deal.

I think I'll pass, but thanks for the offer. The dealer here has 7 00-02 SS's to choose from so I'll more than likely buy one from there. Makes transportation a lot easier.

they're pretty pricey i think. ranging from a 00 SS with 100K miles for $13,900 to a 35th SS conv. with 2K miles for $29,900. they also have a few Z's on the lot as well.

Wow, it sounds like they're VERY pricey!

    I got my 2002 M6 Camaro SS with 22,600 miles + $4K in mods for only $16,500.

i know it is, the only thing that they have going for them is that they're right down the road for me. so i can go anytime and put my hands on the car. but thats why i'm STILL shopping for one. but you do it right, then you only have to do it once.

Yeah I know, its just so hard to come by an f-body (either WS-6 or SS) or any GM go fast car in my area. I'm a patient buyer so I'll take my time and get the exact car that I want.
