Looking at 99 Z28 for $4,400 156k miles

Local used car lot here has 99 z28 for 4,400 with 156k miles he had it listed for 5k now its down to 4.4k probably could get it for 4k. It looks stock except the exhaust tips.

good candidate for mods if that is what you have in mind

yeah, from a fellow high milage Z28 owner i say it looks good from the pics, just dont be suprised if the tranny starts skipping as did mine at 145k. But if ur looking for a toy i would go for it!

I'd buy it for that, but have it's history checked out first and if possible, get it checked out good for any potentially costly repairs.

cars usually dont get that far being abused and neglected. looks like mine when i found it, except for the t-tops. i wouldnt be afraid, right price.

Thanks for the link, I wired the money for it today. Got it for $4200. Road tripping up there with a buddy this weekend and bringing it home. Should fit real nice in the garage with my other Camaro. I always wanted a black fbody, license plates will be Thunder and lightning

A friend of mine bought a 99 t/a with over 150,000mi on it. Threw a 150 shot of go fast juice to it. Raced it at the track every weekend. Only problem he had was a tranny that blew on him.It was an auto.

More performance than sex appeal on this one. Don't get me wrong, it will still look nice and classy, but I want a performance car with some serious balls that is streetable. I would like a 402 or maybe an LS3 down the line. It will have enough under the hood to wear "Thunder" on the tag, thats for damn sure
