    A little pissed off

Well I just recently had a cam installed along with a 2800 stall and a shift kit as well as some other mods. I've been taking it easy on it for the last 2 weeks because I haven't had the WOT dyno tune yet. Well to make a long story short I took it out today after having it put on the dyno. I raped it a couple times. Nothing from a dig, and I slow down to turn around. At this point I'm done playing and driving casually. When it shifted from 1st to 2nd it sounded like a sledgehammer hitting underneath my car. I tried it again to the same damn sound.

So I put it in 2nd and crawled home. I jacked it up and nothing is leaking, but there is a little play in the driveshaft. There is also some weird sound from the rearend and the trans when i rotated the driveshaft. All in all I think I'm fucked, but there is no tellin. Do any of you guys or gals have any suggestions? I also forgot the numbers on the dyno were 383HP 350TQ. This was with 101 degree temps and 45% humidity. Do you guys think these are good #'s?

It's a custom grind Comp Cam. 228/230 585/585 114 LSA. Now I'm not 100% sure on the grind because I forgot to get the build sheet from the shop. But I will be taking care of that on Monday.

Look for a broken motor mount.

The transmission and the rear end are not the quietest things when you put it in nuetral and turn stuff.

I doubt that this is it-but when cleaning the maf I unplugged the iat finished what I did etc. Never plugged it back in and the shifts were rough as hell(metal on metal) Plugged it back in everything was cool. Just an idea.

Hey guys I found it. The 15mm torque arm nut loosened and fell off and the bolt backed out. This allowed the axle to rotate up and down slamming the torque arm against the trans tunnel. It's all good. I finally fixed and I'm givin' it hell again!

i had the same problem with that stupid nut backing out , it happend to me 2 times , my solution was buying energy bushings and welding the mount together where it slips open , never had a problem since

Yeah I got to get back underneath and see if anything is backing off. I'm also going to put a shit-load of loctite on it so this doesn't happen again. How well do you guys think my rear end and tranny are going to hold up to the newfound power? I have a tranny cooler now so overheating shouldn't be an issue.

I was also wondering if you guys could give me ballpark estimates on what times I would post in the quarter? I've been told from the shop I go to that if I tree it pretty good I could probably get a low 12.

I could see mid 12s and possibly low 12s depending on your launch
Let me know how you like the stall

I've been taking it a little easy on it lately cause I'm not financially ready for the rear end to go out.
